SOUL SESSIONS - A TRANSFORMATIVE STORYTELLING WORKSHOP

Performance Sunday, October 24 @ 4:00

Join Gina James for a three-part workshop: “Crafting your Personal Narrative.”

You’ll attend two Sunday sessions (October 14 & 21) that combine elements of active workshop, performance, and story dissection. Once completed, the learnings will culminate in a friends and family performance on Sunday, October 28th where participants will showcase their stories. Participants who attend this training will leave the completed workshop with a custom story, the fundamentals to share it, and a deeper understanding of the power of personal narrative through performance. Gina James manages development and operations at the Public Radio Exchange in Cambridge; she teaches at Grub Street, and she is both a MOTH Story Slam winner and has produced over 100 MOTH shows.

To sign up for the workshops or request further information, email Jackie Rafferty at jrafferty@ocln.org or phone Jackie at 781-383-1348 X6. Participants are limited to 10, so commit now to reserve a spot.

This MOTH-inspired program is generously funded by the Friends of the Cohasset Library.
