Bulletin Board Usage Policy

The Paul Pratt Memorial Library views our public Bulletin Boards as a place for non-profit organizations within our community to advertise their functions or for anyone promoting a free event or service. In order to ensure that each member of our community has a fair chance to advertise their events and services, the guidelines listed should be followed: 1. Since space is limited, we suggest submitting postings to the circulation or reference desks three to four weeks prior to the function. While we would like to allow everyone to post for as long as they want, space limitations do not allow this. 2. Postings may be removed or delayed, at the discretion of the library, to keep the bulletin board current and timely. 3. Please limit postings to one per organization. In fairness, each posting should announce a different event or service. As a courtesy to others, the total area of a group’s postings should be no larger than 11” x 17”. All posted materials should be neat and easy to read.
